FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF PERGE AND ASPENDOS FROM ANTALYA HARBOR

Antalya is the capital city of tourism in Turkey. Its situation on the Gulf of Antalya is one of the finest on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Clustered around the Yat Limani (Yacht Harbor) are some of the oldest buildings in the city. This area is recently being restored. Our first visit will be the ancient ruins of Perge. It was founded in approximately the same period of other Pamphilia cities (7th. century B.C). Perge was also an important city for Christians. St . Paul and Barnabas visited Perge. We get to see the Agora, Hellenistic towers, Bath, Theater, and many others. Afterwards, we drive to Aspendos ancient city and visit the Theater. Aspendos Theater is one of the most everlasting structures of the ancient world, reaching our time. Its seating capacity is 15 thousand and the stage building is still intact. It was built in the 2nd century A.D. We will get back to Antalya after our optional lunch for a free time to spend around the harbor area or in the city center.
